At Sun King, Community is at the Heart of Everything We Do.
Since day one, we’ve believed that brewing great beer goes hand-in-hand with giving back. We are proud to support nonprofits across Indiana and Florida that strengthen the places where we live, work and play.
Each year, Sun King partners with organizations to raise thousands of dollars for local causes through beer donations, silent auction items, taproom activations, volunteer time and board memberships. Our giving is focused on the Indiana and Florida communities that we call home, creating lasting, mutually beneficial relationships and impact that lift up our neighborhoods.
Our giving program focuses on four main pillars that reflect the passions of our people and customers.

Arts, Culture & Humanities
We believe that creativity and culture bring people together and make our communities stronger. Sun King supports organizations that celebrate the arts, preserve history and share stories through visual art, literature, theatre, music, dance, architecture and cultural programming. By supporting the arts and humanities, we help create vibrant communities where creativity thrives and traditions are honored.

Sun King is committed to helping our neighbors in need by supporting organizations that provide essential resources like food, housing and health services. We partner with nonprofits that work to reduce hunger, improve access to safe shelter, and promote overall well-being. By standing alongside these organizations, we help strengthen the safety net that supports individuals and families in our communities.

NATURE, RECREATION & CONSERVATION
Sun King supports organizations that protect natural resources and create opportunities for people to enjoy the outdoors. From parks, trails and waterways to wildlife preservation and community green spaces, we believe that conservation and recreation go hand in hand. By partnering with nonprofits dedicated to protecting the environment and expanding access to outdoor activities, we help ensure healthier, more sustainable communities for future generations.

Sun King believes in supporting the next generation by partnering with organizations that help young people learn, grow and thrive. We support programs that build skills, foster creativity and create opportunities for youth to reach their full potential. By encouraging leadership, education and community involvement, we help empower young people to make a positive impact and contribute something valuable to society.
Community Partner & Donation Request Guidelines
At Sun King, we are proud to give back in many ways, from donating beer and auction items that help nonprofits raise money, to building long-term community partnerships that make a real difference. No two partners are alike, and our community-passionate team is here to assist you.
There are two ways nonprofits can connect with us through this form:
1. Donation Requests
Nonprofit organizations that meet our guidelines may request in-kind support (such as beer donations or silent auction items) to help raise funds. Donation requests are for one-time events and must meet the requirements outlined below.
2. Community Partner Requests
Organizations may also apply to become a Sun King Community Partner. Partnerships are reviewed by our team and must be mutually beneficial relationships that align with our four pillars: Arts, Culture & Humanities, People in Need, Nature, Recreation & Conservation, and Youth Development. Community partnerships are not monetary sponsorships. They are ongoing collaborations designed to make a lasting impact, not support for a single event.
If you’re interested in partnering with us, here are the requirements for our community giving program.
Your organization must be a registered 501(c)(3).
The following will be declined: teams, athletes, bands, golf outings, sponsorships, and financial solicitations. These types of requests typically fall outside of our giving program.
All requests must be submitted at least 60 days prior to your event. No exceptions.
We ask you to work directly with someone from your nonprofit organization, preferably an already-established community partner.
For beer donations, you must obtain an alcohol permit for your event. We must have permit approval before proceeding.
In-kind giving is focused in our home states of Indiana and Florida. Out-of-state requests will be declined.
Donations must be picked up at one of our taproom locations in Indianapolis, IN, Mishawaka, IN, or Sarasota, FL.
