Help Sponsor a Camper at Jameson Camp

Jameson Camp offers a fully accredited residential summer camp for youth ages 7-17. Our mission is to enrich the lives of Indiana youth by inspiring them to discover their strengths. We specialize in serving youth with minor social, emotional, or behavioral challenges such as autism or Attention Deficit Disorders. Jameson is the only camp in Indiana with a special session of camp dedicated to serving youth impacted by HIV/AIDS. While at camp, children participate in fun traditional camp activities like archery, art expressions, creek stomping, rock climbing, culinary arts, talent shows, campouts, and more!

Camp Jameson

Almost seventy-five percent of the campers at Jameson are living at or below the poverty line. Many are referred to attend camp from foster care or homeless situations. For this reason, Jameson offers sliding scale fees based on the household income. Most of our families contribute only $80-$100 towards campership. Jameson’s ability to provide financial assistance for camperships means the difference between a child attending camp or not.

On average it costs Jameson over $500 per child to a session of our residential summer camp. By giving $500 to sponsor a camper at Jameson Camp, you will be making a difference in the life of a child. As a sponsor you will receive a handwritten thank you note from the camper you sponsored; a description of the activities they participated in at camp; and recognition on our website and in our annual report.

There are a variety of ways you can help sponsor a camper.
• Mail a check in the amount of $500 to Jameson Camp, 2001 Bridgeport Road, Indianapolis, IN 46231 or click here to give online.
• Pledge to pay $500 over a period of one year via a payment plan that works best for you, i.e. 12 monthly payments in the amount of $42. To pledge online click here and select Sponsor A Camper and go to check out. At the check out, you will have the option to set up a recurring payment. If you have questions or need assistance, contact Cassandra Tice, Development Manager at Cassandra@jamesoncamp.org or (317) 241-2661 ext. 32.
• Get together with a group of friends or co-workers and fundraise $500. For ideas and more information contact Yvonne Matlock, Development Director at yvonne@jamesoncamp.org or (317) 241-2661 ext. 12.
