Sun King works with hundreds of non-profit and community minded organizations in central Indiana that help achieve our mission of enriching the lives of Hoosiers one pint at a time. This cannot be done on its own. Sun King employs a team of people who work with our community partners daily. No matter how big or small the organization is, our team takes the time to learn about each one, what their needs are, what impact they have on the community, and how we, as Sun King, can be a part of the bigger cause.

Meet Emily Tschuor! Emily has been an instrumental part of developing the community outreach at Sun King since the early days. Read more about Emily's journey from an internship at Sun King to becoming Sun King's Community Partnership Manager in today's How Did I Get Here Blog. And be sure to follow Emily's daily grind over the next three days as she takes over the Sun King Instagram account!

Name:

Emily Tschuor (like the sea SHORE)

Nickname:

Em and Little Sis - Emily was given the nickname Little Sis by Sun King's Production Manager, Dustin Boyer. We we asked Dustin why, he said "She just always seemed like a little sis, so I dubbed her that."

Duties/Job Title:

Community Partnership Manager. Emily's daily routine consists of partnership management for Sun King's 400+ community partners, emails! emails! emails!, donation approvals, event support for partners, a lot of problem solving, wrangling the internship program, and she also sits on several committees for different organizations that Sun King supports.

Working with so many Indy organizations, being involved at the ground level, and seeing the impact/change. Emily has always been interested in the not-for-profit work and her position allows her to work with multiple organizations that she's cares about not limiting her to just one.
