If you are looking for a unique appetizer to wow your guests at your holiday party this season, then you are going to love Chef D’s Cockadoodledodates!



Bacon Wrapped Dates
1 8 oz package room temperature Cream Cheese
28 oz Dates Pitted
24 oz Thick Cut Bacon
1/3 cup Sriracha
1/4 cup Pure Maple Syrup
1 TBSP Worchestire

Sweet & Spicy Drizzle
Mix equal parts Maple Syrup & Sriracha.
Use more Sriracha if you’d like an extra kick.

Mix cream cheese, Sriracha, Maple Syrup, Worchestire, salt & pepper in a bowl. Stuff each date with the mixture, you can use a piping bag or just spoon the mixture in.

Cut the bacon slices in half. Wrap each date with a half slice of bacon and move to a cooling rack over a sheet tray seem side down.

Bake in a 400* oven for 10-15 min or until the bacon is crispy.
Put dates on a platter and drizzle with the drizzle!

These tasty bites pair well with an Obtuse Juice IPA or your favorite IPA.
